Mauricio Ramos 

Owner of IT Austin, has been in the computer business for more than two decades. Mauricio is from El Salvador and moved to Austin TX in 2002. Mauricio has a strong technology background thanks to his previous jobs at some of the world most innovative companies like Xerox, Microsoft and Dell. He started his own independent consulting practice in 2003 under the name of MR Consulting developing strategic alliances and partnerships with Microsoft, HP, Trend Micro and other technology leaders.

During his professional career he has obtained several industry certifications like the MCSE Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Microsoft Small Business Solution, Microsoft Cloud Partner, Google Online Advertising specialist, and Onforce provider.

It was in 2015 when his company was rebranded under the name of IT Austin with the vision of providing quality IT services with an expanded range of products and proficient technical personnel, without losing the direct contact with his customers.

Mauricio is involved in several projects where he can give back to the community. In recent years Mauricio has co-host two radio shows providing professional advice to the listeners. He has also been active as a teacher of basic computer skills to underserved communities in both English and Spanish. In 2005 he was awarded as Volunteer of the Year by the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for his services at their technology center.
